9.2. Circle tray painted fishes

🪵 This round tray is engraved with a school of fish swimming in different directions, each one hand-painted in its own bright flat color. The playful rainbow effect turns a simple wood tray into a colorful conversation piece.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
The tray is cut from solid wood with a raised rim framing the main surface, which is engraved with more than a dozen fish silhouettes carved in different sizes and swimming directions. Each fish is individually hand-painted in a bright, flat color, from blues and purples to oranges and greens, set against the natural warm brown wood background.
WHERE TO DISPLAY IT
It works well as a serving tray for snacks or appetizers on a coffee table, and its colorful engraved pattern also makes it a cheerful standalone piece propped on a shelf or leaning against a backsplash. It suits a playful, eclectic kitchen or living space.
CARE AND HANDLING
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry right away rather than letting it air-dry, working carefully into the carved fish details. Avoid soaking it or placing it in the dishwasher, and keep it out of direct, prolonged sunlight to help the painted colors stay vivid.
