9.1. Dragon Fish Big 1171

🪵 This large carved wood fish figure is mounted upright on a carved floral-patterned base, its body finished in a layered, iridescent scale pattern with tall, feather-like fins fanning along its back and tail. It brings a dramatic, sculptural centerpiece to a shelf or mantel.
ABOUT THIS PIECE
The fish body is carved with a detailed scale texture and finished in a shimmering multicolor paint that blends teal, gold, and red tones depending on the light. Tall, feather-like fins rise in layered points along the back and tail, and the figure is mounted on two thin rods set into a rectangular wood base carved with a decorative floral border.
WHERE TO DISPLAY IT
It makes a striking centerpiece on a mantel, console table, or bookshelf, especially in a room with a bold, maximalist, or coastal-inspired theme. Its large scale and bright color make it a strong standalone statement piece. Please see the photos for scale.
CARE AND HANDLING
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, taking care around the tall fins and the thin mounting rods. Keep it away from direct, prolonged sunlight to help preserve the painted finish, and avoid moisture or damp conditions.
