9.2. Small rectangular tray engraved PEI

🪵 Engraved PEI Rectangular Wooden Catchall is a warm brown rounded-square wood tray featuring low perimeter edges and an engraved montage of Canadian maritime landmarks and wildlife. Its compact silhouette and detailed burnt-line engravings make it a versatile desk organizer or sentimental souvenir.

ABOUT THIS PIECE
Carved from wood in a square profile with softly curved corners and a low rim, this small tray is finished in a warm amber-brown stain. The flat interior basin is engraved with a harmonious collection of coastal motifs, including an lobster, a tall lighthouse projecting radiant light beams, an outline map of Prince Edward Island, and a peaceful sleeping fox curled up snugly. The artwork is completed with clear inscriptions reading Prince Edward Island and Canada alongside geographic coordinates 46°N 63°W. The smooth timber grain provides an earthy texture that enhances the dark engraved illustrations. Natural variations in wood grain and engraving depth occur naturally across individual pieces. Please see the photos for scale and corner views.

WHERE TO DISPLAY IT
Set this engraved tray on an entryway console table for keys, on an office desk for paperclips and USB drives, or on a bedside nightstand for jewelry. It also makes a thoughtful gift for travelers who cherish Prince Edward Island memories.
