Begonia Guide, Part 4 of 9: Angel Wing & Cane Begonias

1 min read

Cane begonias, often called “angel wings”, have upright bamboo-like stems and asymmetric, wing-shaped leaves, and carry airy clusters of flowers (Wikipedia). The American Begonia Society no longer uses “angel wing” as a formal class, but growers still do.

Pet owners: the ASPCA lists Begonia as toxic to dogs and cats, mostly in the underground parts (ASPCA). See our pet-safe plants guide for alternatives.
